LET'S START HERE
We're a new church in Conway, Arkansas.
At Living Stone, we seek to love Conway like Jesus loves. We want everyone to know just how much Christ loves them – that he died and rose to give free and full forgiveness to the world. We do all this to see the unconditional love of Jesus proclaimed and shown to those who have not yet realized it.
C.J. was born and raised in Houston, TX before pursuing his theological education at Martin Lutheran College. He continued his pastoral training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and graduated in May 2024. During his time at the Seminary, he also spent a year as a pastoral intern at Christ Lutheran Church in downtown Denver, CO.
After he graduated, C.J. was assigned and called to an exciting mission: to establish a new church in Conway, Arkansas. The national church body identified Conway as a rapidly growing city with promise for outreach and community building.
In 2022, C.J. married his wife Lauren, and together they have been blessed with a beautiful family— a young daughter and a baby boy. Since moving to Conway in July 2024, the Fury family has enjoyed discovering the charm of Conway and plugging into such a wonderful community.

MEET THE PASTOR
AT LIVING STONE
We believe that God tells us about himself through his Word, the Bible, and that this timeless, changeless Gospel is divinely inspired and free of mistakes, contradictions, or error. We conform all of our teachings and beliefs to the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, John 17:17)
We believe in the Triune God; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe that we are not saved by our own efforts or morality, but through the innocent life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. The Holy Spirit calls us to this faith in Christ through the Word and baptism. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:28)
When we recognize the unconditional love Jesus has for us, we can’t help but share it using our words and actions. 1 John 4:19 says it this way: We love because he first loved us. Read more.

What We Believe
At Living Stone, we seek to love Conway like Jesus loves. We want everyone to know just how much Christ loves them – that he died and rose to give free and full forgiveness to the world.
Our goal is to always be others-oriented, while standing firmly on the Bible and the truth God speaks through his Word. We don’t just want to be another church in Conway, we want to be all about Conway by providing spaces for neighbors to get to know each other better. We know that friendships will form when we make sacrifices, big and small, for the good of others.
We do all this to see the unconditional love of Jesus proclaimed and shown to those who have not yet realized it.

Come together as a family for Living Stone's Family Bible Hour. Families start the hour together with a song. Then, kids enjoy an age-appropriate version of the adults' topic of study. The whole family comes back together for a song & prayer.
